“You have to be okay with the fact that you’re healing. And you have to be okay with the fact that there’s gonna be a huge scar somewhere. But eventually you’ll wake up one day and tell yourself to try. You try one thing at a time like climbing stairs. You can take however long you want at each step as long as you don’t go back down. Eventually, you make newer, stronger relationships and stronger bonds with your family/friends that you forgot to appreciate when you were with someone else (not that you didn’t, but I’m just saying) and then someone else will come along…for you to talk to but you’ll be more careful this time cause there’s that scar there to remind you and yourself that you don’t want to fall back down the stairs you worked really hard to climb.”
